In the midst of a heatwave you can still find the cool periwinkle blue of flax, first thing in the morning. Grateful for a bit of cloud cover and for Colorado dry-heat shade where it drops a few degrees.

111 Fahrenheit!! That’s with the official 101 on the Subaru thermostat. We’re expecting 106 this week so it will be “interesting” (??) to see how hot we register in a few days. Spent the day up at 10,000 feet where it was a beautiful 71 degrees instead!
